Wrapping up the 48th International Viola Congress – 2023 IVC Salaya with a great impression of the Thailand Phil’s performance with a program dedicated to the viola, led by the Thailand Phil’ss resident conductor, Pamornpan Komolphamon, presented the performance of Schumann’s “Concerto for Cello” re-imagined for viola by the viola soloist Ettore Causa, including Hector Berlioz’s “Harold in Italy” by the Thailand Phil’s Viola Principle, Aibek Ashirmatov.
The 48th International Viola Congress – 2023 IVC Salaya over the past week has been jam-packed with activities, workshops, masterclasses, lectures and concerts dedicated to the viola.
