On 30 July 2022 – The College of Music, Mahidol University in collaboration with the Office of Contemporary Art and Culture, Ministry of Culture organised a contemporary music performance in honour of His Majesty the King “Rattanakosin, the Kingdom of Siam”, on the occasion of His Majesty’s 70th Birthday Anniversary on 28 July 2022 at the National Theater (Grand Theater) by Mahidol Symphony Orchestra together with Feroci Philharmonic Society, led by Ajarn Damrih Banawitayakit, Dr. Pamornpan Komolpamorn and Ajarn Navi Hongskul. The concert presents the “Symphony of Rattanakosin” a marvellous song composed by Prof. Dr. Narongrit Dhamabutra, Silpathorn Artist and National Artist and many more beautiful songs with the orchestra together with many famous artists such as Saran Khungbanphot (Best Young Singer 1991), Kittitouch Kaewauthai (Winner of the 1st Pleng Ake), Sayapa Singchoo (Finalist of The Voice Thailand 2018). This concert made a great impression on the honoured guests and audiences. This event was honoured by Mr. Ittipol Khunpluem, Minister of Culture giving a bouquet to the artists.
