On June 1, 2022, Assoc. Prof. Nopraenue Sajjarax Dhirathiti, Vice President for International Relations and Corporate Communication, Mahidol University and Dr Narong Prangcharoen, Dean of the College of Music met with H.E. Mr Thierry Mathou, Ambassador of the French Republic to Thailand on the occasion of Mahidol University by the College of Music accepting the cooperation in the music performance of the French conductor Mr Olivier Ochanine who will join the music performance with the Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra during 3 – 4 June 2022 at the Prince Mahidol Hall, Mahidol University, Salaya. In addition, H.E. Mr Thierry Mathou, Ambassador of the French Republic to Thailand has proposed to Mahidol University and the French Embassy in Thailand to organize an event combining international music and Thai folk music between French musicians with musicians of the College of Music and the Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra to celebrate the 100th-anniversary diplomatic relationship between Thai – France in 2023.
