Doctor of Music Program

The conducting majors of the College of Music are part of our Master of Music and Doctor of Music degrees. These programs aim to prepare conductors for professional careers conducting choir, band or orchestra. Students in our programs receive hands-on training, ample podium time, access to a variety of music and collaboration between disciplines on their journey hear towards a professional career in conducting.

Hands-On Training

Conducting students at Mahidol will receive coaching from experienced teaching staff and international guest conductors.

Ample Podium Time

Conducting students at Mahidol will conduct a wide range of musical groups from classical, contemporary, choral, to theatre ensembles.

Variety of Music

Conducting students at Mahidol will conduct and study various genres of music including classical, operatic, contemporary, popular, to cross-cultural music.

Collaboration between Disciplines

Conducting students at Mahidol will have the opportunity to work across the area of music studies such as recording projects, premiering new compositions, or involve in current music industry.
