On November 8, 2025, the College of Music, Mahidol University, led by Dean Dr. Piyawat Louilarpprasert and Asst. Prof. Dr. Joe Bowman, Asso. Dean for International Affairs, attended the AEC Congress and General Assembly at Mozarteum University Salzburg, Austria.
This participation marks a significant pioneering effort, as both the Dean and the Associate Dean delivered a joint visionary presentation aimed at introducing the music and performing arts of Southeast Asia to the Association Européenne des Conservatoires (AEC) network. The presentation highlighted the College’s international festivals, intending to establish them as globally recognized events. The talk also reinforced strong partnerships between the College and international organizations, affirming the core vision that “The World is Here…at Mahidol” and “The sound of future in Music education is now in Thailand.”
