1 February 2024 – Dr. Narong Prangcharoen, dean of the College of Music, Mahidol University, Dr. Phattara Angsuwan, director of Sirindhorn National Medical Rehabilitation Institute (SNMRI), Dr. Busakorn Lohanchun, director of Institute of Geriatric Medicine and Dr. Adisai Phattatang, director of Maha Vajiralongkorn Thanyaburi Hospital agreed to establish an academic collaboration by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with a focus on the development of music therapy for medical rehabilitation. The opening ceremony was presided over by Amporn Benjaponpitak M.D., MRC Psych, director-general of the Department of Medical Services.
