On 8 June 2026, the College of Music, Mahidol University, represented by Aj. Sarute Wijitwechakarn, Associate Dean for Professional Development and Student Activities, and Aj. Noppakorn Auesirinucroch, attended a certificate presentation ceremony hosted by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Thailand.
The ceremony was held to recognize and thank students, teachers, and professors who contributed to the successful celebration of King’s Day 2026. Among those honored were students from the Jazz Department of the College of Music, who performed at the event and had the opportunity to collaborate with Dutch vocalist Athalie de Koning during the King’s Day Celebration on 27 April 2026.
This meaningful collaboration highlighted the role of music in fostering cultural exchange, international friendship, and mutual understanding between Thailand and the Netherlands.
The College extends its congratulations to all students involved and expresses its sincere appreciation to the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands for providing young musicians with an international platform to showcase their talents and connect through music.
