A Historic Symphony: Recap of the National Unity Concert (Public Performance)

The College of Music, Mahidol University, extends our heartfelt gratitude to the audience for joining us for the “National Unity Concert” on Sunday, March 8, 2026, at Prince Mahidol Hall. This historic performance was held to pay tribute to the profound royal grace of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother, through a repertoire that demonstrated patriotic strength, unity, and pride in Thai national identity.

The concert featured 18 significant songs reflecting the spirit of the Thai nation, from the Ayutthaya period to the present. The program began with various arrangements of the National Anthem by Phra Chenduriyang, progressing into songs of identity like “The Tribe of Thai” and “My Homeland.” The journey continued with powerful Patriotic Songs and the evocative “Sri Ayuttaya,” followed by breathtaking Royal Compositions such as “The Impossible Dream.” The performance concluded with anthems of unity, including “Let’s Live in Harmony,” “Protection,” and “The Royal Guards March.”

Meticulously curated by the Dean and Col. Dr. Prateep Suphanrojn, the music was brought to life by the Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra, the Mahidol University Choir, and an exceptional lineup of artists: Lalit Worathepnitinan, Plt. Off. Kanyarat Kornsuttinan, Lt.
