The College of Music is deeply saddened and concerned by the recent assault of a college staff member at our College. We understand that this incident has caused distress and concern within the community, and we want to assure everyone that we are taking this matter extremely seriously.
The safety and well-being of our faculty, staff, students, and the wider community are our top priorities. We are fully cooperating with the Royal Thai Police in their investigation and are providing them with all available information.
We have a zero-tolerance policy for violence of any kind at our College. We are committed to maintaining a safe and respectful environment for everyone.
We are also working closely with the affected college staff member to offer our support and assistance during this difficult time. The concerned staff member is recovering at home.
We understand that there may be questions and concerns, and we are committed to being transparent as we are able while respecting the ongoing investigation. We will provide updates as appropriate.
We are grateful to the Royal Thai Police and Mahidol University for their swift response and continued efforts.
Out of respect for the concerned staff member, their family, and our community, we trust everyone will respect their privacy at this time.
The perpetrator is currently banned from all our College buildings, with Mahidol University and College security alerted.
