Career Highlight

Surat Prapatrangsee is a lecturer in the Music Education Department at the College of Music, Mahidol University where he has worked since 2002. He is active in many areas for the College including regular publications in the Music Journal, organizing student internships and practicum classes, and advising students on research projects.

Prapatrangsee has a Bachelor Degree in Western Classical Music Performance from Chulalongkorn University, a Master of Arts (Music) in Music Education from the College of Music, Mahidol University and is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Music Education at the College of Music.

Surat is also an active performer on the flute, and plays regularly in small and large ensembles around Bangkok. A chamber music enthusiast, he has been a performer in many regular ensembles including symphonic band, orchestra, and woodwind quintet.
