Career Highlights

Sarunpong completed his Bachelors Degree in Vocal Performance in 2005 and Master degree as Vocal Performance in 2013 at College of Music, Mahidol University.

He participated in the Pro Musica International Master Classes in Thailand with Madame Loh Siaw Tuan in 2007, 2008, 2010, 2011, 2014, 2016 and in Penang, Malaysia in 2011, 2012 and 2013. In 2018, he had successfully completed Dalcroze Eurhythmics Education and Orff Schulwerk: Three Days Workshop at the College of Music, Mahidol University.

Singing experiences: He was a member of The Voices and participated in The Olympic Choir Competition 2006 at Xiamen, China. In 2008, Bangkok Opera invited him to sing in pop opera style at Bali, Indonesia. A year later, he was invited as a soloist to perform with Bangkok Music Society in a Christmas Concert. In 2010, he was a member of a band name Viva (Pop Opera Band). Then he was selected to play as a character ‘Geno’ in a musical, “Ghost Opera” with Music Business Department, College of Music, Mahidol University. In 2012, he got a role “Ferrando” in an opera Cosi Fan Tutte. In the same year, he had an opportunity to play Boy and a Tiger as a role “Father” at Impact Arena directed by Bruce Gaston. In 2013, he was invited to organize and sing a concert by Peak Society of Performing Arts (PSPA) at Penang, Malaysia. During 2014 to 2016, he played an opera and musicals with Grand Opera (Thailand) Co., Ltd., such as La Traviata, The Phantom of the Opera, Chicago, Les Miserable, Fiddler On the Roof, and Miss Saigon, etc. In 2016, he participated PSPA Singers in Fantasia as soloist at SMJK Yuk Choy, Ipoh, Malaysia.

Drama Experience: In 2018, he played a drama called “Chim Pua Nai Krua Phum (My Tasty Hubby Recipes)” with New Theatre Society. Directed by Sirameth Akkarapakulseth.

His teaching experience including private lesson, chorus, and acting class. He also gives workshop and master class occasionally.

Currently, he is a full-time voice faculty at Music Campus for General Public, College of Music, Mahidol University (Siam Paragon), and a part-time voice faculty at College of Music, Mahidol University, Bangkok, Thailand. Besides teaching, he is also a singer of Grand Opera (Thailand) Co., Ltd and CHIARO.
