He started studying Sor Oo with Master Prapat Uankwan when he was 12 years old until 13 years old. He could perform “Pleng Khaek Morn Sam Chan” as a Sor Oo soloist.
When he was in a secondary school, he studied Sor Duang with Master Wan Onchan, Master Prayoon Fakpoo, Master Samnieng Fakpoo and studied Sor Oo with Master Chaluay Jiyachan. When he was 14 years old, he started playing Jakae instructed by Master Prayoon and Samnieng. When he was 15 years old, he could perform “Pleng Krao Nai” as a Jakae soloist. In the meantime he started studying Sor Sam Sai and Khim. He could perform advanced “Pleng Diew” songs as a soloist. When he was 16 years old, he studied Jakae solo for “Pleng Krao Nai”, Thang Piset with Master Siri Nakdontri. When he was in the Faculty of Education, Chulalongkorn University, he studied Jakae with Master Thongdee Sucharitkul and studied all “Pleng Diew” songs from the Master. He also studied piano with Master Choochat Pitaksakorn. He studied violin and joined with Faculty of Education Symphony.
While he was in Chulalongkorn University, he was selected to participate in the band competition by playing Sor Duang. He won the 1st prize for Sor Duang performance for 3 years in a row for Thai Musical Instrument Competition and Pin Thong Prize for the band. During his study in Chulalongkorn University he was a pianist of Mahoree Symphony Orchestra, Faculty of Education, Chulalongkorn University and had piano performance accompanying dramas and singing in many important occasions of the faculty. He studied Popular Piano with Master Sukhum Kanchanapalin for 2 years and Classic Piano with Master Margit Haider Dechant who was Austria’s Chief Professor. Therefore he becomes skillful in classic and romantic performance. He achieved a master degree from Music Performance, College of Music, Mahidol University.
When he was 14 years old, he set up a band called “Nak Chaleum” and could perform advanced songs skillfully. He was invited to be broadcasted in many outstanding youth programmes. He was also invited by Master Sompot Rodboon to instruct Music Appreciation for Chulalongkorn University and posted an instructor at the University of Thai Chamber of Commerce, Phranakhon Rajabhat University (Communication Arts, Music), Kasetsart University for many years. Currently he is a music instructor at Aum Aree Music School and at the College of Music, Mahidol University.
