Career Highlights

Nuttawut Sukseangchan started his music education in 1991 at Wat Suthiwararam School where he joined the symphonic band under the supervision of Mr. Surapon Thanyawiboon. Mr. Sukseangchan chose saxophone as his major instrument. In 1993 the band joined the international competition in the Netherlands. He participated in various music activities as well as other activities of the school.

After graduating from high school in 1996, he furthered his study at the Music Department, Faculty of Education, Chulalongkorn University, where he learned saxophone with Mr. Chuwit Yurayong. While studying at Chulalongkorn University, Mr. Sukseangchan regularly participated in the university concerts including chamber music. He played tenor saxophone in a saxophone quartet of the faculty. He also learned saxophone with Mr. Lakkachai Kritnoi and learned conducting from Asst. Prof. Major Chuchart Pitaksakorn.

In 2001, he started working at Music Campus for General Public Program (Seri Center) of the College of Music, Mahidol University, where he teaches saxophone and conducts Mahidol University Pop Orchestra (MUPO). He is also in charge of several projects such as Rural Music Teachers in Need Training Project, Music Summer Camp, and the main concert of the year.

In 2003, Mr. Sukseangchan performed in the 13th World Saxophone Congress XIII at Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA as a member of Bangkok Saxophone Quintet.

In 2006, he entered graduate school of the College of Music, Mahidol University majoring in Music Education while learning saxophone with Mr. Shyen Lee and music conducting from Ms. Jeannine Wager, conductor of the North Arkansas Symphony Orchestra, USA.

Also in 2006, He performed in the 14th World Saxophone Congress at Ljubljana, Slovenia.

His positions at the College of Music, Mahidol University : Manager of Activities Affairs , Project Coordinator – 15th World Saxophone Congress in Bangkok. , Project Manager – Rural Music Teachers in Need Training Project. , Project Manager – Mahidol University College of Music Archive Project.

His current positions at the Music Campus for General Public, Siam Paragon : Instructor, Saxophone performance.
