Noppadol Tirataradol is one of the most in-demand jazz double bassists in Thailand today. A full time lecturer at the College of Music, Mahidol University since 1998 where he teaches jazz bass, Noppadol first studied Visual Arts and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Chiang Mai University, before following his music passion and pursuing a Master of Arts Degree in Musicology from the College of Music.

Tirataradol is co-creator and project manager for the acclaimed “Thailand International Jazz Conference” (TIJC), since its creation in 2009. As a jazz performer he is a member of the celebrated Mahidol jazz faculty group “The Pomelo Town”, with which has toured throughout Thailand and internationally, and appeared on several recordings.

Tiratarodol has served in many administration roles for the College of Music, and currently works as Associate Dean for Professional Services and General Manager of the Thailand Philharmonic.
