Career Highlight

Kritsana Chitpreecha is a lecturer in jazz saxophone at the College of Music, Mahidol University, where he has taught since 2018. He earned a Bachelor Degree from the College of Music, Payap University in Chiangmai before moved to the United States for a Master Degree at the University of Northern Colorado (UNC). While he was studying at UNC, Chitpreecha performed at the UNC/ Greeley Jazz Fastival from 2015-2017 with UNC Lab Band and Small ensembles. Chitpreecha studied jazz saxophone lesson with Dr. Andrew Dahlke and Kenyon Brenner, and also took classes with Steve Kovalcheck, Jim White, Joel Harris, Davis Caffey, and Socrates Garcia. After graduated from UNC, Chitpreecha has been focusing on jazz large ensemble writing in various styles.
