Career Highlight
A new generation of Popular Music artists, Katawut Chandaeng has been a music instructor at Mahidol University College of Music in Bangkok, Thailand since 2020, where he teaches Small Ensemble Popular Music and Guitar Major Instruments.
Katawut has received awards, including in 2015 he Won first prize Komchadlued Award 12 Best Album and Best New Artist (Monomania) and he was a nominee for Komchadlued Award 12 Best Band, Best album recording and Best Song. Nominated Awards Season Award 26 Best New Artist. In 2016 he was a nominee for Komchadlued Award 13 Best Band and Best Album. Nominated Awards Season Award 27 Best Band.
A founder and member of Monomania band also INSPIRATIVE, TINN, Venn, and Synmelon. He has been performed many Music festivals in Thailand such as Big Mountain Music Festival, Cat Expo, Stone Free Music Festival, Wonderfruit Festival and performed in many countries such as Rocking the Region 2017 in Singapore, Lucfest 2018 in Taiwan he was honored to be opening performed in Nothing but thieves live in Bangkok 2018. and performed with INSIPATIVE Tour in 2018 and 2019 Japan and China.
Katawut has served as Popular Music Small Ensemble and Coordinator within the College of Music’s organization since 2020, and helps oversee events and public relations in the Popular Music Department.
