Career Highlights

At age 12, Akarawit start learning and playing music. After graduated from high school he went to college of music at Mahidol university in jazz music department. There He’d learn double bass jazz with Noppadon Thirataradol.

In his undergraduate years he competed in Thailand Jazz competition and won 1st prize of Junior class in 1st year of the competition and won 2nd prize of senior class in 3rd year of the competition.

He is a founder member of a band called “the richman toy”, released singles under GMM, and later released 4 full albums under Smallroom. The richman toy is one of the most acclaimed bands in their years, some of their albums were praised to be a masterpiece. They won Best Band and Best Album from 7th Kom Chad Lauk awards, Best Band from Fat award 2552, Best Indy Band from 5th Seed awards, Best Producer from 22th Season awards, Best Band and Best Album from 29th Season awards, Best Album from 2019 The Guitar mag awards.

Akarawit himself got nominated as an outstanding alumni from Mahidol university in the 131st celebration of the name declaration day.
Presently Akarawit is the head of popular music department, college of music, Mahidol University.
