The SYMPHONIC ENSEMBLE

The College of Music comprises aspiring musicians who are on their way to becoming professional artists, and so they spend their initial years polishing their crafts and skills.

The SYMPHONIC ENSEMBLE is established to train and inspire winds and percussion students through conventional and unconventional methods.

After their inaugural concert last semester featuring music ranging from the Renaissance to modern improvisatory work, this concert comprises selections of classical works, including Rossini’s famous fanfare, an arrangement of Saint-Saëns’s Carnival of the Animals, Vaughan Williams’s English Folk Song Suite, and a wind band classics, James Swearingen’s Romanesque.
