Join us for the concert “Songs the Blind Can See”, a musical performance by students of Roi Et School for the Blind and a joint musical performance by mentor musicians from both institutions in the Teaching Music for the Blind project, in cooperation with the US Embassy, College of Music, Mahidol University and Northern Illinois University, School of Music.

Teaching Music for the Blind is a project in cooperation between 3 agencies: the United States Embassy in Thailand; the College of Music, Mahidol University and Northern Illinois University, School of Music to develop the curriculum, teaching media and activities for teaching music to the visually impaired, teaching English through songs and activities as well as supporting the playing of musical instruments in local culture to create jobs for the community
