The College of Music, Mahidol University, in cooperation with the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Bangkok, proudly presents: Hong Kong Gaudeamus Dunhuang Ensemble.
Thailand, imagine an afternoon where history gently begins to sing.
Join us for “Museum Series: The Sounds from Cultural Relics” — a one-of-a-kind concert where ancient treasures come alive through music.
Inspired by the legendary murals of the Mogao Caves, this performance revives celestial dancers, sacred Buddhist realms, and Silk Road legends in breathtaking soundscapes. Travel from the grandeur of the Tang Dynasty to the mysteries of the Sanxingdui Museum, and experience a powerful musical tribute to the legendary Bruce Lee.
This is more than a concert; it is a living museum—a poetic dialogue between heritage and contemporary artistry featuring internationally acclaimed pipa virtuoso Han Yan.
