The Classical Voice Department, College of Music Mahidol University proudly presents its annual opera production Hänsel und Gretel (Hansel and Gretel), a German Fairy-tale Opera by Engelbert Humperdinck. Hänsel and Gretel is one of the most frequently performed operas for children and families around the world. It has long been celebrated as “the first gateway into the world of opera for young audiences.”
Join us on a magical fantasy journey adapted from the beloved Grimm fairy tale. Follow the adventure of Hänsel and Gretel, two young siblings who wander into an enchanted forest—a land of fairies and angels by the Classical Voice Department, Mahidol Symphony orchestra, along with enchanting stage design,costume,lighting, and theatrical magic that will bring smiles to children’s faces and warm the hearts of audiences of all ages.
