Social Studies

Social studies for YAMP students aims to promote curiosity, critical thinking and understanding of our social reality.  In this subject, students are exposed to multiple disciplines from social sciences, humanities and history.   Our classroom functions as an academic platform where students can exercise their freedom of expression. Also, it is a safe environment for students to develop and exchange their opinions. In this way, this is an ideal place where students can explore their inquisitive minds by learning to discuss about everyday problems and learning to form questions about their surroundings.  Most importantly, this learning process will give a solid foundation to our students to obtain strong social ethics and values.  Hopefully, this will be the blueprint of their characters as they enter into their young adulthood.
