YAMP Guitar Competitions Regulations
- Category A
Age up to 14 years old (born on 1 November 2006 or after)
Free choice piece(s) 3 – 6 minutes - Category B
Age up to 18 years old (born on 1 November 2002 or after)
Free choice piece(s) 8 – 10 minutes - Category C
No age limit
Free choice piece(s) 12 – 15 minutes

• There are three categories of competition:
A (age up to 14 years old)
B (age up to 18 years old)
C (open, no age limit)
• Competitors are allowed to participate in more than one category. However, competitors are not allowed to play the same repertoires in any categories
• If the time limit is exceeded, the Head of the Jury may cut off the performance at that point
• The score will be made in a point system ranging from 0 to 25 The First , Second and Third Prize cannot be shared
• The decision of the jury is final
• The 1st Prize winners agree to perform in the winners’ concert
• Application deadline is 20 November 2020
• The application fee is 1,000 Baht per category, and is non-refundable in any circumstances

1st Prize 5,000 Baht Certificate and Trophy
2nd Prize 3,000 Baht Certificate
3rd Prize 1,000 Baht Certificate
