David Hawkins is an American drummer, composer, and bandleader from Omaha, Nebraska. He began playing drums at age four and was strongly influenced by gospel and church music. Hawkins has performed with artists like Branford Marsalis, Joey Calderazzo, and Bobby Watson. He co-founded the NYC music collective VERACITY and works as an educator at institutions like Jazz at Lincoln Center. His style blends jazz, gospel, and contemporary rhythms. Orlando le Fleming (born July 7, 1976, Birmingham, UK) is a British jazz bassist and composer, skilled on both double and electric bass. He studied at the Royal Academy of Music and moved to New York in 2003. Le Fleming has performed with artists like Branford Marsalis, Joey Calderazzo, and Jeff “Tain” Watts. As a bandleader, he released albums including From Brooklyn With Love (2010) and Romantic Funk: The Unfamiliar (2020). Luca Filastro Trio
Luca Filastro, born in 1992, is an esteemed Italian jazz pianist, composer, and arranger recognized for his refined musicianship. He began studying piano at the age of five and developed an early admiration for the great stride and swing pianists of the early jazz tradition. Following the completion of his classical piano studies, he pursued advanced artistic development in Rome, dedicating himself fully to jazz performance and improvisation. His musical style is distinguished by a sophisticated synthesis of stride technique, swing phrasing, bebop language, and blues expression. Filastro has performed internationally in solo settings as well as with his own trio, quartet, and the prominent Luca Filastro Orchestra. Yvonne Moriel Quartet
Yvonne Moriel, an Austrian saxophonist, flautist, and composer from Tyrol, has established herself as a distinctive voice in contemporary European jazz. After relocating to Vienna and Zurich, she deepened her engagement with improvised music and modern jazz languages. Her project yvonne moriel :: sweetlife reflects her innovative approach, merging jazz with dub aesthetics, electronic textures, and free improvisation. The Killin Jivers X The Hop Bangkok
The Killin’ Jivers, a dynamic German swing band, are renowned for reviving the spirited sound and playful energy of 1930s jazz. Their repertoire blends original compositions with classic swing tunes, crafted to captivate both listeners and dancers alike. They performed at The Hop Bangkok, a cornerstone of Thailand’s swing dance community and a venue dedicated to preserving vintage culture. In partnership with the Swiss Embassy, this collaboration highlighted the role of music and dance in fostering international cultural exchange. The ensemble’s vibrant sound, paired with The Hop’s enthusiastic dance culture, created an atmosphere of joy, movement, and shared celebration. Through such performances, the project honors the legacy of swing while introducing its timeless charm to new global audiences.
Moncef Genoud with Seamus Blake
Moncef Genoud, born in Tunis in 1961 and raised in Switzerland, is a renowned jazz pianist celebrated for his virtuosity and expressive depth. Blind from birth, he began piano at age six and has collaborated with top international jazz artists throughout his career. Seamus Blake, born in London and raised in Vancouver, is a leading tenor saxophonist known for his inventive post-bop style. Winner of the 2002 Thelonious Monk International Saxophone Competition, Blake has performed with numerous jazz legends worldwide. Together, Genoud and Blake create a dynamic duo, blending soulful piano with lyrical, improvisational saxophone. Their collaboration bridges generations and cultures, uniting technical mastery with emotional storytelling in jazz.

FUNKTION is a fusion jazz band from Thailand. The band is established in 2013 by a group of musician who is fondly interested in the instrumental music and want to create a songs under their own label and styles, consisting of Eakpiya Sungkatabtimsung (Saxophone), Attakorn Daothongprasert (Guitar), Suppakit Fongtanakit (Keyboard)
In 2016 Funktion has released their first album under the name of “Solid Highway” which a track of “Natural Order” won a prize in Season Award 27th in the major of best instrumental music and has performed their show both in Thailand and overseas; China, Japan, Hong Kong.
Funktion is continuously producing and performing their best works to all the fans.

Born in Fukuoka City in 1968. He began playing piano at the age of three under the guidance of his mother, a piano instructor, and played trumpet in the school brass band during junior high school.
In 1992, he moved to Tokyo and began his career as a composer, arranger, and sound producer. Since then, he has participated in numerous recording sessions and live tours across the J-Pop and jazz/fusion scenes.
Abe’s musical work spans a wide range of genres, including television and radio commercials and film scores.
He has also been active internationally — performing at a Vocaloid concert in Los Angeles, appearing at jazz festivals in Thailand, and arranging songs for top national artists in China.
Abe has released three solo albums in the jazz/fusion genre, including sessions recorded in Los Angeles and New York. His latest solo album, *“Walk Around”* (Sony Music), features musicians such as Brian Bromberg.
Marine expeditionary force band
Consisting of approximately 50 musicians, the III Marine Expeditionary Force (MEF) Band possesses diverse musical capabilities. Commonly recognized for itsmarching, the unit also performs as a wind ensemble, jazz combo, brass band, brass and woodwind quintets, rock band, and other smaller chamber ensembles. Because it is the only U. S. military band on Okinawa, the III MEF Band performs in over 300 commitments per year. Someof these events include parades, military and civilian ceremonies, formal concerts, diplomatic events, Marine Corps Birthday Balls, and worldwide marching and concert festivals. Due to its high demand, the III MEF Band is highly proficient in a wide variety of settings, allowing its musical vocabulary to be quite extensive. Symphonic classics, modern literature, traditional marches, jazz & pop standards, and music from movies and stage productions are all quite common for this unit. Similarly, traditional Japanese music is often played due to the band's location and involvement within the local community. This will mark III MEF Band’s 2nd annual participation in the Thailand International Jazz Conference.
Rangsit University Jazz Orchestra
Rangsit University Jazz Orchestra is one of the premiere student jazz orchestras in Thailand. The band is directed by Dr. Denny Euprasert, Dean of Rangsit University Conservatory of Music, and assisted by Arnupap Kammar. RSU Jazz Orchestra served as a representative of the Rangsit University through its performances, and it functioned as a learning experience for its members. The RJO takes an active role in presenting music of the members as well as the standard jazz repertoire. RSU Jazz Orchestra performed at numerous international festivals such as Thailand International Jazz Conference, Sawasdee Jazz Festival, Chiangmai Jazz Festival, China Jazz Education Festival, Big Band Madness Festival, and Taichung Jazz Festival.
Mahidol University Jazz Orchestra
The Mahidol University Jazz Orchestra [MJO] was initially formed in 2003 by jazz studies students at Mahidol University conducted and directed by Dr. Joseph Bowman and under the advice of Dr. Gene Aitken. Its first public debut was in 2004 at the auditorium of Siam Motors Building - a home of Siam Music Yamaha Co., Ltd. MJO continuously develops its performing skills with various leading conductors including Shuichi Komiyama, David Hart, Udo Van Boven, and Hashem Assadullahi. In 2007, MJO has been honored to perform at Chiayi Music Festival 2007-2008, Taiwan ROC, JAZZED IN SIBERIA 2023 and recently participated in the Fourth Thailand International Jazz Conference [TIJC] 2015 and Jazz in The Park with MJO at Santi Chai Prakan Park 2013. MJO plays a multitude of jazz genres – Standard, Latin, Vocal, Fusion, as well as the classical style of Symphonic Band. At present, MJO's repertoire embraces compositions from world-class jazz composers (for instance, Gordon Goodwin, Maria Schneider, Bob Mintzer, Bub Curnow, and Mark Tylor) to the MJO's original. MJO is scheduled to release its first album, which includes compositions by Mahidol University College of Music's Jazz students, in early 2018. MJO is currently directed by Taweesak Booranapanitpan, Annawin Kerdteesud, and Sarit Tanpensuk.

The 3rd Party Big Band, a collective of CU Band alumni, showcases a unique blend of individuals with diverse career paths. Comprising both musicians and non-musicians, our group thrives on this unconventional mix, creating a distinct sound that sets us apart. Our synergy is a testament to the richness that arises when talents from various walks of life converge, making the 3rd Party Big Band a one-of-a-kind musical experience.
4Brothers
4Brothers We are a jazz fusion band. We dreamed of playing at this event, so we got together. There are four of us: Matthiw, Pleum, Toto, and Focus. That's why we named the band 4Brothers. Last year we played at the Cat Stage, so this year we wanted to come back and play at the Oval Stage again.

A dynamic vocalist, guitarist, and composer, Aivee captivates with nuance and flair. Her warm, richly hued voice and laid-back grooves weave enchanting musical stories that feel like intimate, fireside jam sessions. As Reach Media observes,
“Aivee’s velvety tone transports you straight to a cozy gathering—and in our books, she truly is the boss of bossa nova.”
During her time at Berklee College of Music—where she studied with Grammy-nominated vocalist Carrie Cheron and jazz guitarist Jane Miller—Aivee honed her artistry on stages across Asia, North America, and Europe.
She first attracted international attention with her debut album Blue Morning, a blend of jazz and bossa nova featuring collaborators from Brazil, the U.S., and Taiwan. Her sophomore release, But Beautiful (produced by Andy Jaffe with performances by Damian A. Garcia and Damiano Niccolini), garnered two Global Music Awards in 2024 (Jazz and Female Vocalist) and swept the 2025 LIT Music Awards (Best Jazz Album and Best Vocal Performance Album).

The BSRU Big Band was formed by a group of students from the College of Music, Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University. Founded in 2025 by Kolawat Rattanakunchon, the band was established with the goal of performing at the Thailand International Jazz Conference (TIJC) 2025. The ensemble focuses on Latin, Funk, and Bossa Nova styles
Chiang Mai Big Band
Chiang Mai Big Band was established by Mathieu Franceschi in September 2024.
Since its creation, Mathieu, a drummer and composer who graduated from Musikene Higher School of Music, has led and conducted the band.
Chiang Mai Big Band plays some of the most iconic traditional arrangements from Count Basie Orchestra, Duke Ellington, Thad Jones and Mel Lewis, and also interprets modern Bigband arrangements from artists such as Kurt Rosenwinkel or Jacob Mann.
Chiang Mai Big Band has performed during multiple international Jazz festivals including Chiang Mai Street Jazz Festival, Jazz Arabica, Jazz International Day.
Our mission is to promote the vibrant Jazz Music scene in Chiang Mai, cultivate and develop young music talent, and participate in the development of Jazz in Thailand and South East Asia.
CFM Trio
We are CFM Trio, formed by three musicians from the College of Music, Mahidol University. Our members are Cheok Qi Hong (Piano), Ming Thunyaboon Ruttanatuptimtong (Acoustic Bass), and Fifa Komsan Tongsrinun (Drums). Having studied and performed together for years, we decided to create our own jazz trio. We reinterpret works from our musical idols and develop them in our own style. Through this, we hope to share our music, skills, and artistic vision with the public.

Mahidol University Jazz Big Band
The CRU Big Band Jazz Orchestra was founded in 2018 under the direction of Professor Ronnachai Chonwichit. The members of the band are students from the Western Music Program, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Chandrakasem Rajabhat University, who share a deep passion for big band music. Participating in TIJC 2025 last year was a great honor and a valuable experience for both the students and the professor. This year, the orchestra is once again determined and enthusiastic to take part in the event, as it provides an important opportunity to further develop their performance and listening skills, as well as to strengthen the jazz community in Thailand.
CU Band
CU Band, commonly known as Chulalongkorn University big band, is affiliated with the Student Government of Chulalongkorn University (SGCU). Since 1955, the band is well known of having talented singers, musicians, light and sound technicians, masters of ceremonies, public relations, and other professions involved in the musical field.
Four Comrades
Four Comrades brings together four jazz faculty members at the Conservatory of Music, Rangsit University—Teerus Laohverapanich (saxophone), Sopon Suwannakit (piano), Teerawat Tunboot (bass), and Arnupap Kammar (drums). Drawing on extensive international experience as performers and educators, the band has established itself as a leading force in Bangkok’s jazz scene, presenting original works alongside fresh twists of the jazz standards repertoire.

This band consists of second-year students from Mahidol University: Taychin (piano), Phutawan (bass), and Jui (drums). We have been close friends and have performed together since their Pre-College years in various events. We like to shares a strong interest in the arranging style of Steven Feifke, therefore we choose some of his work to studied and will present at the TIJC Oval Stage performance.

Horwang Big Band was founded in 2014 through the collaboration of students and alumni from Horwang School, with some members originating from the school’s Marching Band.
The band has performed continuously, both within the school and at various external events.

Our band consists of students from various year levels within the Jazz program at Mahidol University. United by their admiration for the compositions of Snarky Puppy, We decided to form a band to perform the music of Snarky Puppy on the Oval Stage at the Thailand International Jazz Conference 2025 festival.
KC LITTLE JAZZ BAND
KC LITTLE JAZZ BAND.It is a band of students participating in the marching band activity who love jazz music, especially the royal compositions of His Majesty King Rama IX.The school was given the name KING’s College School under Royal Patronage. Students therefore practiced and played jazz music together to honor His Majesty King Rama IX, who had made great contributions to the school.
KL Big Band
KL Big Band is a premier jazz ensemble based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, dedicated to celebrating and promoting the art of big band music. Formed under the auspices of Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur (DBKL), the band brings together some of the nation’s finest jazz and classical musicians to perform a diverse repertoire ranging from traditional swing and bebop to contemporary jazz, funk, and fusion.
With a standard big band setup — trumpets, trombones, saxophones, and rhythm section — the KL Big Band showcases the powerful sound and sophisticated harmonies that define the genre. The ensemble regularly performs at national celebrations, cultural festivals, and international music events, proudly representing Malaysia’s vibrant musical scene.
Over the years, the KL Big Band has collaborated with renowned local and international artists, including leading Malaysian jazz vocalists and instrumentalists. The group also serves an educational role, nurturing young talents through workshops, clinics, and outreach programs aimed at sustaining Malaysia’s jazz tradition.
Whether performing classic arrangements by Duke Ellington, Count Basie, and Thad Jones, or original compositions by local composers, the KL Big Band continues to inspire audiences with its energy, artistry, and commitment to musical excellence.
LPRU BIG BAND
LPRU BIG BAND consists of students from the Music Education Program, Lampang Rajabhat University. The band plays an important role in university events and special occasions, performing various styles such as Pop, Jazz, Rock, and Disco. It was founded to provide students with opportunities to develop and showcase their musical talents, preparing them to become quality music educators.
LRU JAZZ ORCHESTRA
LRU Jazz Orchestra, founded in 2020, is the official jazz ensemble of Loei Rajabhat University. Comprising student musicians from Music Performance and Music Education, the group performs at major university and provincial events. Its repertoire features Jazz Standards and Popular Jazz works, blended with Isan folk elements. Through this fusion, the ensemble redefines Loei’s cultural identity within a modern jazz context.
Mahidol University Jazz Big Band
Mahidol University Jazz Big Band was established by Shuichi Komiyama. During the first year, David Hart, a trumpet instructor who graduated from Eastman School of Music, conducted the band. Mahidol University Jazz Big Band has performed in many national concerts in the various styles of Jazz music such as Jazz, Be-Bop, Hard-Bop, and Funk. Currently, Mahidol University Jazz Big Band is conducted by Sarit Tanpensuk.
Mahidol University Jazz Stage Band
Since our Jazz students have increased every year, the Mahidol University’s Jazz Department has increased from having two large ensembles to three large ensembles, adding the brand new Mahidol University Jazz Stage Band. The music performed by the ensemble includes compositions from the Swing era (Duke Ellington, Count Basie, and Benny Goodman) in Original Arrangements and New Version Arrangements. Members of the band are mainly students from the Pre-College Jazz Program. The purpose of this ensemble is to provide experience for students to become a Jazz musician in the future. Currently, Mahidol University Jazz Stage Band is conducted by Taweesak Booranapanitpan.
MFU Band
The MFU Band, founded in 2009 at Mae Fah Luang University, is a big band featuring talented students from diverse fields. featuring a lineup of wind instruments, a rhythm section, and vocalists. The band has performed at many significant events, including the MFU Big Band Jazz Concert and a joint concert with the Chiang Rai Community Winds. We are dedicated to conveying the warmth and peace of the northern mountains through jazz on the TIJC 2026 stage.
MoCow House Band
Our band was formed by a group of friends who share a passion for creating instrumental music that is easy to listen to yet rich in musical ideas. Each song carries a unique concept and character, with our debut track “Meteor” showcasing an odd-time signature that shifts rhythmically while remaining smooth and accessible to all listeners. We continue to craft new pieces with dedication and creativity, and we look forward to sharing more of our upcoming works soon.

Moradok-Mai Plibai is a group of young musicians from a theater community, skilled in traditional Thai and Western music, dance, and theater. Led by Botlakorn Chandruang, an emerging jazz guitarist and composer studying at the Uni. of Northern Colorado, This nurturing environment helps them explore their potential while honoring Thai traditions, and their unique talents are gaining recognition from audiences worldwide.

Formed by pianist Sorawitch Chalorthammanit guided by his admiration for the great Gadi Lehavi , joined by Chaiyaroj Watthanakiatikhun and Pichayada Teewa . MPJ Trio was formed with a purpose of paying tribute to GTO Trio, a jazz trio with distinctive sound and compositions from Israel .
MSU Big Band
MSU Big Band was founded by the College of Music, Mahasarakham University, as a Luk Thung combo ensemble that could perform various styles of music reflecting the local Isan culture. In 2013, the Bachelor of Music program was revised to include a “Big Band” course, emphasizing jazz performance, ensemble skills, and stage experience. The band performs two annual concerts as course assessments and frequently participates in festivals and community events across Thailand.
The NCDA Jazz Big Band
The NCDA Jazz Big Band is under the Department of Music, Western Music Major, and is supported by the Nakhon Ratchasima College of Dramatic Arts, Recognizing the importance of teaching and learning in the field of international music, the college established the Jazz Big Band in 2025, founded and conducted by Mr. Thas Phongnailert, with the support of the college director, Mr. Toonthongjai Seung-ram
P.T. Trio
P.T. Trio is a jazz group from Taiwan, featuring pianist Yan-Ni Wu, bassist Ta-Jen Liu, and drummer Shao-Wei Wang. The three musicians — all graduates of university jazz performance programs — met in Kaohsiung in 2024, a vibrant city in southern Taiwan, where they formed the trio. Pichayan Taptim Quartet
Formed in October 2022, the Pichayan Taptim Quartet began as a substitute band at Smalls Pub and soon evolved into a dedicated jazz ensemble. Performing monthly, the group refined its sound through classic jazz standards. I’ve had the privilege of sharing the stage with many of Thailand’s top jazz musicians, whose talent has shaped the quartet’s growth.

Phuket Rajabhat University Jazz Big Band was founded by Khanchit Suwaphakrangsi. Phuket Rajabhat University Jazz Big Band has performed in many concerts in Phuket Province in various styles of jazz, such as jazz and funk. Sarasas Jazz Band
Sarasas Jazz Band (SJB) was established to promote and develop the potential of music teachers with expertise in jazz within the Sarasas Affiliated School. The band provides a professional platform for expression while enhancing the image of jazz music education in society. It serves as a model and a central hub for knowledge exchange, sharing experiences, and extending these skills into teaching and learning activities with students in each school, leading to the continuous and sustainable development of jazz music quality.
Salaya Tiny Young Chorus
Thai Government’s national strategy by initiating a programme of music therapy for the aging generation using qualified personnel within the College of Music. The programme aimed to improve the quality of life for the aging both in their physical and mental health, as well as the chance to socialize and communicate with others interested in similar subjects. The Salaya Tiny Young Chorus (STYC) was launched in November 2015 to disseminate the knowledge to the Thai general public the benefits of choral singing with the opportunity for those aging people who still have music in their hearts and are interested to learn this art the opportunity to join without charge at the College. This initial course (STYC 1) was taught and conducted, with 50 members aged between 40-88 years with two hours rehearsal every Saturday, and culminated in a successful concert in March 2016. Due to the success of the first course with proven results in the physical and mental health of some of the older participants, a second course was proposed and approved by the College. The opening of the following courses (STYC 2- present) was met with overwhelming interests and more than 170 applicants were received.
The choir has participated in choral festivals in Asia, winning silver prizes from senior choir category from Singapore, Indonesia and Malaysia.

SKRU BIG BAND is one of the unique Jazz ensemble in the southern of Thailand. We are the Songkhla Rajabhat University’s band. All members of the band are music major students from years 1 - 4. An instrumental fusion band from Chiang Mai, blending jazz, blues, and contemporary sounds with local influences. Formed for a competition, Won The Power Band 2022, which inspired them to keep creating music. Our works highlight the concept of “Chiang Mai Sound,” combining traditional Thai elements with modern styles. With international performances and albums released, Solar System continues to share their unique sound worldwide.
Sonic Syn
Sonic Syn was formed by a group of long-time friends who share a deep passion for jazz music, blending a variety of styles such as rock, funk, and smooth jazz. This project was born out of their desire to create performances enriched with musical elements from the original compositions written by each member.
Last year, TIJC 2025 left a lasting impression on the band, as it was a great honor to be part of such a remarkable event. For this special occasion, the band has re-arranged their new compositions to suit TIJC (Thailand International Jazz Conference) 2026.
They sincerely hope to have the honor of performing at the event once again, and would like to express their heartfelt gratitude for this opportunity.
SPSM Jazz Big Band
The SPSM Jazz Big Band from Srinakharinwirot University Prasarnmit Demonstration School (Secondary) has carried on a strong big band jazz tradition since the establishment of the school’s Music Major. The band performed at the Thailand International Jazz Conference (TIJC 2025) and won 2nd Runner-up at the Thailand Jazz Competition (TJC). It has presented royal compositions in tribute to Her Majesty the Queen Mother during the Loy Krathong Ceremony. The ensemble also performed for New Year celebrations at Central Rama 9 and Terminal 21. Regularly featured in school ceremonies like the Foundation Day, the band continues to share the joy and excellence of jazz music.
SWP JAZZ ORCHESTRA
The Jazz Orchestra of Sarasas Witaed Samut Prakan School was established in 2019 by Mr. Worawat Chumworatayee, who is the teacher and conductor of the band. The Jazz Orchestra has participated in various competitions, such as the Thailand Symphonic Concert Competition 2024. The band is capable of performing a wide range of styles, including Jazz, Pop, and Orchestra. Currently, the Jazz Orchestra of Sarasas Witaed Samut Prakan School is under the Music direction of Mr. Worawat Chumworatayee.
Thaksin University Big Band Jazz
Thaksin University Big Band Jazz was established in 1998. Asst. Prof. Dr. Raweewat Thaicharoen as Music Director (Dean of Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, TSU). The band consists of students from first to fourth year, along with instructors. Thaksin University Big Band Jazz has performed many standard jazz repertoires. Thaksin University has participated in numerous international festivals, such as the Thailand International Jazz Conference, a jazz concert with the Mahidol Faculty Jazz Ensemble in collaboration with Thaksin University Big Band Jazz, and the Hatyai Jazz Festival 2024, in collaboration with the Mahidol Faculty Jazz Ensemble. Thaksin University Big Band is conducted by Prayat Supajitra.
The Songkhla Jazz Community
The Songkhla Jazz Community is a collective of jazz enthusiasts based in Songkhla, founded in 2017. The group organizes a wide range of activities, including live performances, workshops, academic events, and major jazz festivals such as the Hatyai Jazz Festival. Their repertoire spans diverse jazz styles, from Bebop and Hard Bop to Fusion Jazz. The ensemble is under the musical director of Prayat Supajitra.
UBRU BIG BAND
The UBRU BIG BAND was established with the objective of promoting and supporting the development of musical capabilities by blending Western and Northeastern traditional music. Its aim is to serve both internal university units and external organizations, including governmental and private sectors. The ensemble comprises faculty members and students majoring in music, as well as students majoring in music education from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at Ubon Ratchathani Rajabhat University.
UBRU BIG BAND is dedicated to enhancing musical potential with a focus on quality. It aspires to build a reputation and become a source of pride for the people of Ubon Ratchathani Province and Thailand as a whole in the future.

The band was formed when Kong invited Nai and Bom, who shared his passion for fusion music. They later expanded by adding more members to complete the group.
Mahidol University Jazz Guitar Ensemble
Mahidol University Jazz Guitar Ensemble is a large ensemble directed by Kritsana Chitpreecha. This ensemble is very special and rarely seen in jazz. We study a wide variety of the jazz repertories from swing to modern.
Eyal Maoz
Eyal Maoz is an Israeli-born, New York–based guitarist and composer known for blending jazz, rock, experimental music, and Middle-Eastern influences. A major voice in the downtown NYC avant-garde scene and a longtime contributor to John Zorn’s Tzadik label, he has performed widely across the U.S., Europe, and Asia. Leading groups such as Edom, Dimyon, and Hypercolor, Maoz creates music that is both boldly exploratory and emotionally direct. His work spans improvisation, electronic soundscapes, and strong melodic ideas, and he also composes for film and multimedia. At the center of his artistry is a commitment to creative freedom and cross-cultural expression.
12X
The name “12X” comes from the jazz ensemble room at Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University, which is a rehearsal space for students in the jazz program. During our second year, we started forming a small jazz band with close friends and classmates. We performed at various events, including university functions and outside gigs. These experiences inspired us and deepened our passion for jazz music. From that inspiration, we decided to officially form our band, “12X.”

Apollo is a band inspired by the musical concepts of Ron Miles and Paul Motian. Building upon their ideas, we have developed our own distinctive sound and musical identity. The band aims to explore new forms of performance and composition, creating a musical approach that is uniquely our own.
B35
B35 บรม๓๕ is a Thai contemporary band blending the traditional Nora music of Southern Thailand with free jazz, funk and psychedelia. Formed by Kanta and Non, the group began by reimagining Southern folk melodies with jazz elements. They were later joined by jazz musicians Don and Loma, completing the quartet.
With members from both Southern and Northern Thailand, B35 continues to explore and blend regional folk sounds
through a bold, experimental approach pushing Thai traditions into new, contemporary territories.
Black space band
It started with meeting at the studio to shoot the 'Overdrive Back to School' show on Channel 9 with Professor Prach Music. The parents of both the guitarist and the drummer exchanged contacts, in case they wanted to arrange for the kids to come jam together. After that, additional members were sought to find time to showcase their talents. And after coming together to perform on various stages.
BLUE HOUR
The “BLUE HOUR” band is group formed by student form the Faculty of Art Education, Bunditpatanasilpa Institute, who are majoring in Western Music within the Music Education Program. “BLUE HOUR” serves as the resident band for the Faculty of Art Education and has delivered countless performance. Buadaeng Band
BB began as an original music project by Dan Buadaeng, guitarist and band leader, aiming to contribute to the Chiang Mai jazz scene with original and creative ideas. He invited three of Chiang Mai's top jazz musicians to join him. Surawee, with whom Dan has performed as a jazz duo, has appeared at festivals such as the Pai Jazz and Blues Festival. Fluke is one of Chiang Mai’s most prominent drummers, while Oak, the bassist, represents the young blood of the local jazz scene.
Chiangmai Incidents
We are Chiangmai Incidents, a group of kids from Chiang Mai, from primary school to junior high. We came together simply to follow our love for music and play the songs we truly enjoy. Our style blends jazz fusion, progressive jazz, and jazz-rock. Even though we are young, we play with passion and energy, sharing the music that inspires us.
Clovers
Clovers was established by Students of I.C.T. Clovers Band was formed on January 1, 2025, with seven members. Their first song was funk, but their instruments didn't fit the funk genre, so we sought a genre that complemented our band's style: jazz.
COSMIC TRIPLETS +
Bangkok based band COSMIC TRIPLETS + comprises the core trio of Kyle Dreher on trumpet, effects, and keyboards, Sudi Narasimhan on electric bass, effects, and keyboards, and Brad Denig on drums, sequencer, guitar, and keyboards + (PLUS) young Thai guitar phenom Tanid Sintaratana, the most recent special guest. Expanded to a quartet, COSMIC TRIPLETS + specialize in open improvisation – sometimes spacey, sometimes propulsive, sometimes both at once – always a trip. The influences are diverse, drawing upon jazz, indie rock, ambient, and much more. Sit back and prepare for a galactic journey.
Creaturation
Creaturation is a trio that crafts innovative electronic soundscapes, blending creativity with nature’s inspiration through original compositions by its members. Formed by Parames Pipattanasuporn, Patsakorn Singhakan, and Thantee Kunjara.
Everest Visa
Everest Visa Band was founded by Eugene, the band’s trumpeter and leader. Originally, the group was formed just for an examination, but Eugene’s strong bond with his bandmates inspired him to take it further. Since they all share a deep love for jazz, he decided to bring the band to competitions and various performances, turning it into something more meaningful than just a school project.
The band consists of six talented members: Eugene on trumpet, Yam on drums, Design on piano, Chen on bass, Ut on guitar, and Namwhan on saxophone. Together, they bring energy, creativity, and friendship to every performance, expressing their shared passion for jazz through their music.
Everything No
Formed in 2025, “Everything No” is a jazz quartet born from a shared passion for jazz. Half of the group studies music while the other half studies engineering, but the love for jazz music brought us together. Originally inspired by the film Blue Giant, the band began as a trio before expanding with the addition of a bassist to complete our sound. Our group is inspired by modern jazz artists like Wayne Shorter, and Kenny Garrett.
Handsome for-some
Handsome for-some is a jazz collaboration band between Malaysia and Thailand. This newly-formed band specialises in the styles of jazz fusion and modern jazz, playing tunes written by established jazz musicians and at the same time presenting its own original works.

Harm Check started for a very simple reason — our saxophonist watched Blue Giant and suddenly decided he needed to form a jazz band , So he called his friends, and somehow they all said yes.

J1BA Big. Band is a jazz trio consisting of Mahidol students and alumni from China, Malaysia and Thailand. This trio is versatile in many styles of jazz, often playing standards and tunes rearranged in their own way.
Jab Jude Band
Jab Jude Band was formed by friends who love various styles of music and enjoy creating music in various forms. This has led to the creation of songs that combine international music with folk music from the Northeast. There is no fixed musical style. Every song has instruments and melodies that are created from folk music from the Northeast, or what people call the Isan region, which is the band's highlight.

KrittyKat is my solo endeavor, where I, Krit Amatatranasub, a Chiang Mai-based musician, weave together jazz melodies and improvisation with modern twists. My music is a reflection of my life and the city I call home, with a hint of Chiang Mai's charm. I hope to share these stories through my songs and connect with audiences worldwide.
Mai Nuer (Minor)
Mai Nuer (Minor) is a contemporary Thai fusion band that combines the unique sound of the pin (Isan lute) with modern jazz and groove-based music. Formed by young musicians passionate about blending Thai identity with global soundscapes, the band creates an energetic and colorful style that bridges traditional melodies and modern harmony. Their performances reflect a new generation of Thai fusion music that is both innovative and rooted in culture.
PHA Band
PHA is a trio fusion jazz band established by Phakphoom Tiavongsuvan (P), Hinviman Phatthanasasimathi (H) and Chonlakrit Srithongin (A). The band name is based on every member’s nickname. During Covid-19 lockdown, PHA joined TIJC 2022 online for the first time. Then, PHA transformed to PLA due to the new drummer Thanut Thanetjindara (Leng), the band also performed in TIJC 2023 at Oval Stage and 2024 at Cat Stage. One year later, PA had only two members without a drummer. The band became electric guitar and electric bass duet performing in TIJC 2025 at Cat Stage. Finally, the first drummer Hinviman Phatthanasasimathi (H) has been back to join the band again for the next TIJC in 2026. We are PHA again and we are ready to serve you Latin jazz rock sound.
PROJECT 4KT
“PROJECT 4KT” is a band formed by members who share a deep appreciation for jazz, particularly styles with a similar aesthetic. The group began with a double bassist (Kitsanapong Julkanak) and a guitarist (Kanyaphat Distnim) who were both inspired by Nordic Jazz — a genre known for its distinctive Scandinavian sound and atmosphere.Later, they invited a drummer (Kanyapat Khaokaew) and a trumpet (Kantapong Srinuankhao) player who shared an interest in the musical direction of ECM Records to join the ensemble. To create a cohesive blend between these two influences, the band sought a tonal element that could bridge and harmonize the styles. This led to the addition of a saxophonist (Thanakrit Khunbantao), completing the sound and identity of “PROJECT 4KT”

It all began as a random talk between friends last year — just a thought about playing TIJC together. As friends, we all share the same love for laid back music with a touch of rich harmony. Sharing this same love for music makes us feel the spark. This year, that spark turned into something real. That’s how SEAFOOD came alive.
SWU TRANE
SWU TRANE is a student band representing the International Music Program, Faculty of Fine Arts, Srinakharinwirot University. The band leader, Dujduriya (GATO), is a third-year student who studies jazz bass and often jams with friends and juniors, as well as performing with various groups outside the university. The band performs jazz in diverse styles and enjoys blending cross-cultural musical elements to create unique jazz expressions — for example, incorporating Latin jazz influences.
Toon Pinsing Band
Toon Pinsing Band is a group of musicians who love Thai I-san folk music and international music. Therefore, we have brought the unique musical instrument of the I-san, the Pin, with international music in various genres such as Pop jazz, Funk, reggae, by using the sound of the Pin, which represents I-san culture, to create songs in the style of Toon Pinsing Band.
Trap Tempo
This Trap Tempo band started with our guitarist P'Boss Chawangkun. It started by inviting his younger siblings who were still studying at the same university to start forming a band. The first person was Team Saxophonist and then started inviting the younger drummer kong and after that the last person was a player named P'Kao until the founding of this band. We are interested in progressive jazz. So I wanted to create a band and composition songs with progressive jazz ideas that I wanted to convey to the audience.
Usa Manee Trio
Usa Manee Trio is a band formed by three friends. They wanted to play new styles of music, such as southern and northern Thai folk songs and create jazz fusion music.

Vanilā Trio was established in 2025, The trio uniquely blends traditional Esan folk music with contemporary styles, creating Esan Fusion, Esan Lofi, and Esan Funk. Their music highlights the charm of the phin, seamlessly integrated into modern jazz and fusion. Vanilā Trio is recognized for bringing a fresh, contemporary sensibility to traditional Esan melodies.
