At the College of Music, students are aesthetically carved to be a pillar of the music society. As part of the mission, the General Education department is here to form the subtle base to this pillar.
Our vision is to equip graduates, whom are well trained by music experts, with English language ability, analytical thinking skills, and a deep sense of values and ethics. The general education 30 credits requirement has been attentively designed to meet with the criteria of the Thailand Quality Framework, and to fall into line with the ASEAN Economic Community. All courses are conducted by scholars who master pedagogical concepts of the 21st century where a teacher should become not only a provider but more importantly a facilitator and developer.
As the “wisdom of the land”, quality is valued. The General Education department of the Mahidol College of Music is hereby committed to empower students with broad knowledge and positive, constructive attitudes. We offer education specifically structured to drive learners to creativity, autonomy and social responsibility.
