Research and Awards Overview

The Research Office, College of Music, Mahidol University, was founded in 2008 to emphasize on producing academic research and new generations of researchers of music and of other disciplines (dance, theatre, etc.) which will contribute to adding knowledge in the music field. This will enhance the sphere of the music profession in the performing and academic subjects and participate in the music affairs of the region, in accordance with the National Research Policy and Research Strategy of Mahidol University. The office assists both students and faculty by giving workshops and seminars on various topics in music research, like finding research grants and creatively developing music education. The office promotes research in all accepted fields of music, both in and outside of Thailand.
