The Mahidol Wind Orchestra, led by an award-winning conductor Thanapol Setabrahmana, is glad to invite you to experience the reincarnation of folk tunes in the fresh, novel form. Malcolm Arnold’s Tam o’Shanter
Overture, a program music based on a poem by the legendary Robert Burns. In Charles Ives’s Country Band March and Alan Fletcher’s An American Song, numerous familiar American melodies were collected, collaged, and transfigured into captivating pieces of music that will make your ears puzzled and irresistibly search for the tunes and meanings hidden.
