The Peninsula Bangkok presents the first-ever Bangkok performance of the award–winning choir from the College of Music, Mahidol University featured with talented international artists from Gonville & Caius College, Cambridge University

The Peninsula Bangkok proudly presents a series of delightful afternoon events that redefine the traditional afternoon tea experience while the art of music takes on a complementary role to elevate you into a sensational afternoon. On Saturday, 26 August 2017, the hotel will present the first-ever Bangkok afternoon tea experience with a performance by the award-winning choir from the College of Music, Mahidol University and Gonville & Caius College, Cambridge University- the best of the east and the west- at the hotel’s lobby from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
As part of the hotel’s commitment to support the local community, the hotel is partnering with the College of Music, Mahidol University to provide a unique stage for young talented Thai students to entertain guests. On Saturday, 26 August 2017 the Choir from Mahidol University will to share the stage with the Choir from Gonville & Caius College, University of Cambridge.
The students from Mahidol University Choir group recently received awards from various international music festivals such as one Silver Medal – Sacred Music category during the International Choir Competition at Harmony Festival 2017 in Germany and the 1st Prize, Golden Medal and The Winner of Grand Prix 2017 at the Festival of Songs Olomouc 2017 in Czech Republic.
The Afternoon Tea with the Art of Music experience at The Peninsula Bangkok runs between 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm and the choir performances are from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm (including an intermission).
The Peninsula Afternoon Tea is priced at THB 1,100++ per person and THB 1,400++ for two people.
